This book is about a young horse who gets taken from his mother at a horse market. When he comes home there is a boy named Albert who looks after him.Then his dad says the next day that he has to start working on the farm in one week. Then after a couple of years great Britan was at war with Germany and Albets dad can't keep up with his morgage so he takes it to the army and the army buys him. Then Albert notices and he is only 13 so he asks the captin if he can join the army so he can be with his horse but he is under age. will Albert ever see his horse again?
