This book is a fable about a donkey, a cat, a dog, and a rooster. All their owners wanted to get rid of them so they all ran away together to join the Bremen Town Band. They were walking, flying and troting through the woods when they found a house, there were three robbers in the house, so they broke in so they could sleep there.
